Data Deletion Request

How Dno users can request account deletion and deletion of specific data.

Account deletion

If you created a Dno account, you can request deletion using either method below:

  1. In-app: Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  2. Email: send a request from the email or phone associated with your account to privacy@dnoapp.com with the subject “Delete my Dno account”.

We may ask you to verify account ownership before deleting data.

What deletion includes

  • Account profile information.
  • Posts, stories, reels, comments, saved items, and drafts where technically available.
  • Messages and group data according to product behavior and recipient visibility.
  • Optional personal information linked to your account.

What may be retained

Some information may be retained for a limited period where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, backup restoration, or enforcement of our Terms. Public content copied or shared by other users may remain outside Dno’s control.

Timing

We aim to process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period and, where required by law or app-store policy, within applicable deadlines. Backup copies may take longer to expire.

Data-only deletion requests

If you want to delete a specific post, story, reel, comment, message, or media file without deleting your whole account, use the in-app delete controls or contact privacy@dnoapp.com.
